The MW Approach

Murdoch Wickham has worked closely with the design team to develop the masterplan, preparing landscape masterplans through to the detailed hard and soft landscape plans for individual phases, which are currently being built.

The MW Vision

Landscaping has been one of the main drivers for the masterplan development at Finberry. The site wide green grid, has been designed to function as a multi-purpose open space, hosting the SUDs, footpaths, cycleway links, play areas and ecological corridors.

The MW Touch

One of the main landscape constraints for the development is the site’s susceptibility to flooding. Where appropriate the landscape strategy has accommodated large attenuation areas, design as natural landscape forms and planted to enhance the biodiversity of the area. These attenuation areas create attractive landscape features, which have contributed to the character of the green infrastructure.
