Murdoch Wickham’s role has been to design a truly bespoke landscape design, plant and tree procurement and on site supervision. The landscaping has been designed to create an instant impact for the Client and illusion that the garden has been there for many years, with the use of high quality mature planting stock and materials.

The MW Vision

The vision for the front garden was to create a visual link between the house and the lawn area, created with a formal parterre of yew sentinels and pleached hornbeams.

The Client has also chosen to add to the gardens elements of garden sculptures, these striking additions provide additional focal points to the garden. The garden sculptures are by Philip Jackson, best known for his hauntingly elegant figure pieces and for significant public commissions such as the Bomber Command Memorial in Green Park and the Gandhi memorial in Parliament Square.
