Ingress Park

Responsibilities: Murdoch Wickham were responsible for assisting Crest in developing their first brownfield site; Ingress Park on the banks of the river Thames. The site was a former paper mill factory and merchant naval college.
Our role, as landscape architects was to work closely with the client's design team and Dartford Borough Council to create a unique new settlement with a strong identity and complimentary landscape framework that responded to its rich history and heritage.
As a result Ingress Park received the CABE Building for Life Gold Standard Award 2003 and the Daily Mail National Homebuilder Design Award 2006.
The practice also undertook the implementation and procurement of all hard and soft landscaping within the public realm areas including the Abbey amphitheatre, central boulevard, Heritage trail and river walk.
