Repton Park

Repton Park is a high quality development of new build and restored historic properties near Chigwell in Essex. Set within 235 acres of historic parkland and ancient woodland the development is centred on the Victorian buildings of Claybury Hall. The parkland, originally designed by Humphrey Repton (1752-1818), has been restored and enhanced as part of the development.
Working with Crest's design team, Murdoch Wickham prepared and implemented landscape designs around the new and refurbished buildings. The challenge of the scheme was to successfully integrate the new proposals with the historic and ecological setting of the estate. High quality, high value properties required a commensurate landscape. The scheme design was focused on 'show house' presentation within a strong design framework. This is backed by high quality plant material and high standards of workmanship. The project is a prime example of Murdoch Wickham's commitment to quality and good design in a highly commercial environment.
