Culverden Park is a modern Regency styled development undertaken by Crest within the historic town of Tunbridge Wells. The location of the site and its close proximity to the main road created an important nodal gateway into the town. Our responsibility was to successfully gain planning approval for this very sensitive site involving lengthy negotiations and consultations with the local authority and stake-holder groups.

Our landscape response was to reinforce this gateway effect with the planting of a large avenue of semi-mature Plane trees and the refurbishment of the war memorial area with new pavings and complimentary street furniture.

The remainder of the development centred around a newly create square.
